Sixteen years ago, I went to the doctor with what I thought was a skin rash, perhaps an infection. I left with a diagnosis of an incurable skin condition and little to no information. I was 21 and had no experience of skin issues and felt completely lost. Sixteen years later, I have identified my triggers, tried more products that I can remember, experienced countless flare-ups, and even built a career and an internet following based on my passion for rosacea advocacy and skin positivity.

If you have rosacea (or any skin condition), you will know all too well that each person is unique, as is their skin. Rosacea symptoms, experiences, and triggers differ from person to person; I’ve purposefully kept the advice fairly general so that the majority can find something useful in it.
